Adobe web sdk platform edge network API vs Adobe dataflow sevice API

I am new to AEP and a little unsure about when to use the AEP Edge Network API versus the Flow Service API, as both are server-side APIs. Can I use the Edge Network API for all my data ingestion needs? When should I choose one over the other?

    @riteshk99  Simply WebSDK is all things digital data ( websites, apps, server side data) & Flow Service API can be used to other data sources (offline data) CRM, Marketing Automation, Call Center, inhouse database etc. 

    Use Flow service API when the data source you are ingesting into AEP is not available in list of out of box source connectors
