Why does the publish environment not add jquery dependencies

Hi everyone,

I encountered the following error when deploying to the release environment,

I found that this $ is undefined is only a problem in the publish environment, because the publish environment does not load jQuery that comes with AEM.

Does anyone have a solution, I really need it, and I look forward to your replies

Hello @vinnieyb

Can you please cross-check if jquery is configured as dependency for your base clientlib?

you should check whether your clientlibs are set to allowedProxy to true.

see the below url

https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/developing/introduction/clientlibs.html?lang=en#locating-a-client-library-folder-and-using-the-proxy-client-libraries-servlet

Hope this helps
