User Impersonate feature

I want to provide impersonate access for users in group A as users in Group B. Eg.

Group A

  • User A1
  • User A2

Group B

  • User B1
  • User B2

Right have I have given  read access in /home/users for group A but when I login as user A1 or A2, I don't see impersonate option itself. Is there some other setting i need to enable in order to allow group A members to have impersonate feature available.

Also, User A1 and A2 should be able to impersonate as user B1 or B2 only but not any other user that is not part of group B. Is it possible to acheive this using permissions?

Thanks,

rajeev

To impersonate an existing user:

  • In the tree list, select the name of the person who you want to assign other users to impersonate. Double-click to open.

  • Click the Impersonators tab.

  • Click the user you want to be able to impersonate the selected user. Drag the user (who will impersonate) from the list to the Impersonate pane. The name appears in the list.
