Use VueJS in aem clientlibs

I am extending AEM Tools menu. For that I have created a clientlibs folder in which I'll be keeping JS and CSS files. The problem is that I'm using VueJS but it's not executing. I tried using import but that's also not working. Please suggest some solution.
