Hi All,

I have a pdf named test.pdf and I upload to DAM and everything works fine. When I make some modification to the content of test.pdf and upload to DAM again I don't see my recent updates to the content. It work just fine in Chrome and FF.  Any suggestion on how to solve this is really appreciated.

Steps to create the scenario.

1) upload a test pdf to DAM and open the pdf in IE browser. 2) make some modification to the pdf content and upload in dam (either create a version or replace). 3) Reload the IE browser the updated content must be displayed but its not.   Same with chrome will show the updated content.

Thanks in advance

Hi ,

First thing I wouuld do is to check whether browser version is supported or not, Please see below link for supported browser for Author instance

FOR AEM 6: http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/deploy/technical-requirements.html#Supported Browsers for Authoring User Interface

For 5.6: http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/cq/current/deploying/technical_requirements.html#Supported Client Platforms

Saying that, I feel it is always best practice to deactivate and delete original pdf and upload new one as they are having same name else we would encounter caching issue like this.

Enjoy learning.

-Thanks
