svg image not displaying in page from dam

Im trying to add svg image from dam to a page. But the image is broken.

What is the fix?

Hi,

 

Are you able to load the svg image with direct dam url ? Try it on browser it will download to the instance, if downloading fine, then there might be syntax issue when adding to page, if not the svg is not uploaded into dam.

 

You can also check whether there are any restrictions on svg while uploading to dam (You can check under configMgr)

Below you could see I have added svg image using we.retail image component and it's getting displayed perfectly -

Even I have dropped the .svg image in parsys and it's working also. 

Please check the log file what is the error you are getting. I am using AEM 6.5.9
