Smart Crop auto not working in Core image v3 component

Hello,

 

I am working on enabling smart crop feature in core image v3 component. I have the image profile for smart crop created and also the smart crop renditions have been generated. It is working fine with the core image v2 component. So the issue is only  for image v3 component.

 

I have already looked at this thread - https://experienceleaguecommunities.adobe.com/t5/adobe-experience-manager/smart-crop-auto-rendition-not-working-with-core-image-v3/m-p/601898#M150775 and the issue still exists. Please let me know if you ran into this issue and have any suggestions to resolve the issue.

    Thanks @kedar0910 . We had created an Adobe support ticket and confirmed that it is a known issue with image v3 component. Adobe engineering team will look to implement image v4 which can support smart crops. Currently the recommendation is to use image v2 component which works fine for smart crops.

    can you try to rebuild the client libs and see. sometimes v3 clientlibs doesnt get loaded and v2 clientlibs might have been cached.
