Read only mount - blocking writes on /apps

Getting below error on RDE environment crx/de while creating a node and trying to save.


Could not save changes. Received 403 () for saving changes in workspace crx.default. OakAccess0003: Read only mount - blocking writes on /apps

RDE (Remote Development Environment) is configured with limited write access to certain areas of the JCR repository, such as /apps,/libs, or other system-related paths. Hence Adding nodes under app is not allowed in RDE environments.

Are you trying to add nodes under apps? This is not allowed in the RDE environment. You can try updating the node locally and install in RDE via aio commands.

Example:

aio aem:rde:install ui.apps/src/main/content/jcr_root/apps/wknd/components/helloworld/_cq_dialog/.content.xml -t content-xml -p /apps/wknd/components/helloworld/_cq_dialog/.content.xml
