Parsys not showing up for the custom components occasionally in edit mode of AEM React page

Hi,

 

We see some issue of parsys not showing up for the custom components frequently, when the page refresh or switch the mode (edit to preview, back to edit) parsys is showing. 

Application is on Adobe CS. Appreciate, any suggestions.

Can you check if you see any error in browser console.
Also please check the below link and see if you are missing something. The below link  tries to create a column control with a parsys in it. You can extend the same implementation.

    1. Component Initialization:
      Ensure that the custom components are properly initialized in the React app. Sometimes the parsys may not render properly if the React components aren't fully loaded or initialized when switching between modes (edit to preview). Verify that your components have the necessary lifecycle methods to ensure they render correctly in AEM's edit and preview modes.

    2. AEM Dispatcher Cache:
      The dispatcher cache might be causing issues with refreshing the content in edit mode. Clear the AEM dispatcher cache and try again, as stale cached content can prevent proper rendering of parsys.

    3. React & AEM Integration:
      Ensure that the integration between AEM and React is correctly set up. Check if the React component is being properly embedded within AEM's parsys and that the right component model is being passed to it. Any issues here might cause the component to not show up consistently.

    4. Mode Switching Issues:
      The issue might be related to how AEM switches between edit and preview modes. When switching modes, AEM might not be refreshing the DOM properly.
