Hi,

We would like to include content fragments in content launches but we are not getting the option to include content fragments while creating launches.

Any alternative approaches or suggestions would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, There could be a few reasons for this behavior, and I'll provide you with some suggestions and alternative approaches to help you resolve this issue.

  1. Check Content Fragment Configuration: Ensure that content fragments are properly configured in your AEM instance. Make sure they are enabled and allowed to be included in launches. You can check the configuration in the "Content Fragment Models" console.

  2. Verify Permissions: Ensure that the user creating the launch has the necessary permissions to include content fragments. Check if the user has the required access rights to create and manage launches and content fragments.

  3. Update AEM: Ensure that your AEM instance is up to date with the latest version. Newer versions often include bug fixes and enhancements, so updating AEM may resolve any issues related to including content fragments in launches.

  4. Custom Workflow Steps: If the standard AEM workflow does not provide an option to include content fragments in launches, you can consider creating a custom workflow. By creating a custom workflow step, you can add the functionality to include content fragments before or during the launch process.

  5. Custom Development: If none of the above options work, you can explore the option of custom development to achieve the desired functionality. By leveraging AEM's APIs and customization capabilities, you can build a solution tailored to your specific requirements.
