OOB External component NOT WORKING

Hi All,

OOB External component is not working for me in AEM 5.6.1.

I tried the following-

On a AEM 5.6.1 instance with out any hot fiix created a new page with existing template and dragged & dropped the external component.

Gave target url as www..google.com

But its throwing error as follows-

Resource=NonExistingResource, path=/content/xyz/en_gb/www.google.com

Can someone please guide me what i am missing here any configuration or any hot fix.

Make sure url end with .html & also include protocol.

Hi Sham,

Thanks for your reply.

But as per dev.day.com documentation i gave www.google.com but still i am getting the above error.

Also i tried to give the url as https://www.google.com/ still nothing is getting displayed.

Anything else required to be done from my side??
