We are looking for a tool or code example where if newer content was on a lower environment it would not get overwritten when creating a content package from the production environment. This option only has one source of truth https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/content/implementing/developer-tools/content-copy

Hi @kurtcleoh ,

Prod env content are always latest and that is the reason why content sets are always propagated to higher to lower envs.  "Exclude Path" option can be utilized while building the package in case some content on lower environment is not required.

Thanks,

@kurtcleoh i don't think content copy tool have that ability as the user running tool must be in administrator group you can't even play with acls.
