We are knee deep in the implementation process of AEM. We are using Assets now with our design team. I am looking to connect with someone that is using Assets to gain some insight on how your design team interacts with the DAM. Are they using the DAM just for storing finished assets or is more of a "living" repository that they are working from. If there is someone that would be interested in opening up a conversation to shed some light on your experience with AEM Assets that would be awesome.

Hi,

What exactly you are trying to do with DAM..Are you trying to customize  the AEM DAM?

Also, DAM is not only for storing finished assets also it is living repository. See here in detail about AEM DAM: https://www.techaspect.com/blog/9-things-to-know-about-adobe-dam/

Also for example, in AEM website, you can download DAM assets which stored in DAM as per your requirements like using Querybuilder API - Very Powerful: Adobe Experience Manager Help | Downloading Adobe Experience Manager 6.4 DAM Assets using the Query Builder API

Hope this helps!!

Thanks,

Ratna Kumar.
