Multiple users on one AEM Instance

Dear Community Members,

I have installed Author on my machine and can access using localhost:4502. My other team member wants to make use of the same author instance using the default login ID/Password. I have replaced the localhost with my system IP address, they are unable to access the instance and receiving an error saying Connection Timed Out.

Can you suggest something to proceed further?

    your team member should be able to access your instance with the ip address of your machine e.x. 10.0.x.x:4502

    Hemant, my initial thought was same but that is not working.

    Could be a network issue. There is nothing special about AEM that would not let a user on the network to access it.

      I too suspect it to be a network issue. Adding further to your response, I have even tried connecting via. both wifi and LAN but no luck. I will keep the thread open, just in case if you come across something specific to this, please do let me know. Many thanks.

      Try putting a web app server on the server and see if there are any issues. However - as I said - there is no AEM config setting that control this behavior.
