Migrating from CQ 5.6 to CQ 6.1

We are planning to move our Environment from CQ5.6 to CQ6.1

Is there any checkpoint document or link to refer.

Issues which may impact the upgrade process-
- Update to 6.1 from 5.x and 6.0+CRX2 using crx2oak fails if installation path contains a space.
- Update to 6.1 from 5.x and 6.0+CRX2 fails on Windows due to backslashes written to FileDataStore.cfg
