I am going to build a microsite.

Is there a way to edit or add content that is common to each microsite at once?

Is there a way to collect and upload individual content for each site at once?

Basically you have multiple choices to create micro site which are as follows:

1. Using the Template and Component you can create a different node under content for your microsite and create it.

2. Using Design Import Component you can include a design import component you can import page content

3. You can get created entire micro site by your design agency and keep all the HTML/JS/CSS and Image files in a single folder. Use relative path for all the image/css/js references. Creaet package and add metadata for package in this folder installed in AEM (Qucik and dirty way)

Hope this helps

Not really sure what you mean with "collect and upload individual content" (a package?), but you can use blueprints to have a common base for all microsites and create live copies of it for every microsite. This way, when you edit the blueprint and roll out the changes, all the microsites are updated aswell.

Yes you can do that....Its useful when you have many microsites going to be reside in you AEM.
