Launches in AEM 6.1 - Is it possible to navigate and change the page hierarchy?

Hi, Everyone,

Does the AEM 6.1 UI allow browsing the launch content and adding/removing/moving pages in it without changing the Production?

So far, the only way of browsing the launch content that I have found is selecting a Production page, finding the launch in "References", and clicking "Go to the page". That doesn't let me change the page hierarchy in the launch or browsing the launch hierarchy.

Yes you can. The steps are

  • From launch console find the root path of launch.  It will be below /content/launches
  • Using crxde reorder what ever changes is required. Along with new creation/removal etc...
  • When ever you try to promote it will show for the page moved two action (remove/add) .

In my opinion friendly ui should be present which is missing please file a support ticket to track this out.

Hi Sham HC​,

I know it's an old topic, but it looks like this feature has not improved since AEM 6.1.

I'm currently facing the same limitation with AEM 6.3.

Do you know if there is now a better way to add/remove/move a page from a Launch with the Touch UI and without having to use CRX/DE?
