Is it possible to view pages on Author server without logging in?

In Author mode, anonymous access is disabled for most part.

You can enable anonymous user in Apache sling authentication service.

As Hamid mentioned, it is possible by allowing anonymous access and also by adding the path to "Authentication requirement" as shown in the screenshot.

That said, We have publish layer for this kind of functionality and allowing anonymous access for author instance is a security vulnerability and should never be used. So, I would recommend using publish instances to view the pages rather than author without access.
