Does any one ever developed or have seen an extension to make AEM Inbox notifications to create browser notifications?

Accidentally, looking for something else, I found this: https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/system-notifications/index.html . Half baked solution for my need.
