Is there a way to debug the following code where the line for the console.log doesn't log the message "Test message" in console? But the next line alert("Test Alert") works fine. $(document).ready(function() {         console.log("Test message");         alert("Test Alert");}); One more thing to notice is in below code, "0000" is printed in output but not "99": <script>$(document).ready(function(){          console.log("99");});console.log("0000");</script> I have tried changing the version of the jquery CDN link to the previous versions and am still facing the same issue.Using this version of jquery:<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/3.7.1/jquery.min.js"></script>

I've created a page template by using "core/wcm/components/page/v2/page" as resourceSuperType. I've used nested multifield there with datasource. we have a requirement where the emails has to be sent via an API instead of an SMTP server from AEM. Is there a way to override Email service in AEM? Or how can we come over the SMTP connectivity.

Hi everyone, I have a website in AEM Cloud, with custom CDN Imperva (that should be forwarding the header, since is exposing it also in the response section) and my goal is to redirect users based on their country, to the correct site. Here is what I've done:Added "X-Aem-Client-Country" both in the clientheaders.any and the site.farm file. In the last one is in the /cache /headers sectionAdded "Header set Vary "X-Aem-Client-Country" in the site.vhost fileAdded custom rewrites in the rewrite.rules file. Here is an example:RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/?$RewriteCond %{HTTP:X-Aem-Client-Country} ^US$ [NC]RewriteRule ^.*$ /en-us [R=301,L]As a "default" page I've left a "country choice" page that should hit when the country code is not among the ones specified in the rewrite.rules fileI've tried also with the name of the header in uppercase or lowercase but it changes nothing. Maybe I'm forgetting something, but the situation right now is that the site is not redirecting to specific

Hi Experts, I am trying to use one 3rd party jar (cloudinary) so that AEM can connect to cloudinary APIs, I have created bundle from these jars and installed in Felix console. Now when I am trying to invoke my logic to connect to cloudinary APIs, it is throwing  "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.net.ssl.HostnameVerifier not found" by jarBundle (3rd party jar bundle). while debugging I saw that this HostnameVerifier is available at rt.jar for 3rd party jar bundle still this issue is appearing. Could someone help me here ? Here is the exception stacktrace  Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/net/ssl/HostnameVerifierat org.apache.http.impl.client.HttpClients.custom(HttpClients.java:48)at com.cloudinary.http44.UploaderStrategy.init(UploaderStrategy.java:40)at com.cloudinary.Uploader.<init>(Uploader.java:43)at com.cloudinary.Cloudinary.uploader(Cloudinary.java:43)at com.abhi.www.cloudinary.impl.workflow.UpdateAssetWorkflowProcess.

Show/Hide cq-dialog Fields based on Drop-Down Selection In AEM   by Mayur Satav In this blog post, we will see how to use OOTB show/hide functionality for CQ-dialogs fields based on the drop-down selection in AEM.In AEM, CQ-dialogs are one of the most important components. It is possible to greatly improve the user experience by strategically hiding dialog fields until a specific option is selected by the user.   It’s time to get started, so let’s do it step by step.   Step 1 — First create one node list of type nt:unstructured for the drop-down list and add below properties. a. class— cq-dialog-dropdown-showhide*. b. cq-dialog-dropdown-showhide-target— .{{anyClassName}}-showhide-target*. e.g. .test-options-showhide-target c. fieldLabel— Options Type. d. name — ./optionsType. e. sling:resourceType — granite/ui/components/foundation/form/select*. NOTE — properties marked as * are madatory Once

Will there be an issue on doing this? I have a bundle build locally in Java 11. But the in house AEM instance that I am trying to deploy to is running in Java 8. Will this create compatibility issue for the bundles once deployed to the AEM instance running in Java8? If yes, is there a solution on how we need to proceed?

Hi Team, I've just discovered that on my 6.5 in-house AEM DAM the metadata of the asset does not transfer if the asset is copied to a different location. In the Copy Assets section in this manual:https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/experience-manager-65/content/assets/managing/manage-assets it says that date and date created will not be copied, which I understand. In my case I have an asset that came with the metadata from original source. I fixed the metadata (Title, Description, Tags, Keywords) on the original file, then needed to copy it to a new folder to have two copies. The new copy of the file is displaying the metadata it came with from the original source. Why did the AEM DAM not transfer the metadata that was added through the UI? Is this a bug? This means that my stakeholders who copied assets from the folder of assets with updated metadata are seeing wrong or non metadata at all. I tried applying different metadata schemas, but it did not make any chang

Hi all,I'm having a hard time knowing what the pros and cons of RDE vs a local environnement is. I have a full scrum team that will shortly be working with a cloud AEM instance and it has been suggested that I use RDE environments rather than local environments on my developers computers. Naturally I have a tendency to think that a local environment is required to properly build an entire business website, but perhaps I am mistaken. Is RDE a viable option for a development team? And what should my preoccupations be?
