I want to track the user activities on the assets like updated, added rendtions, deleted etc.., any leads here please? version AEM 6.5 I dont want to use any analytics as such.

How do you want to track these activities?

If its only in AEM, you can use Audit logs .
- ACS commons also provides reports https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/audit-log-search/index.html
- Audit: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/content/security/audit-user-management-operations.html?lang=en
If you wish to capture these events and consume via Adobe I/O for an external API, please visit https://github.com/adobe/aio-lib-java
- It has some default configs as well
