how we can ensure to call one workflow after another only?

if workflow A and Workflow B is there and i want to ensure that B must be triggered only when workflow A is completed .?

I already know there is some api availbe there where we can get if the workflow has been complteted or subject to workflow and all ..but I want to know any other simole approces are there
