How to trigger Request for Activation workflow on AEM 6.3?

Hi there,

I need to add an approval process before a page/asset gets published in AEM 6.3. As per the documentation, the easiest way out is to utilize 'Request for Activation' workflow. However, this workflow gets triggered only when the author is not having appropriate replication rights.

'The out-of-the-box workflow, Request for Activation, is automatically triggered when a content author does not have the appropriate replication rights.'

However, if we remove replication rights from a page/asset, I don't get any option to publish the page/asset. How should I trigger the 'Request for Activation' workflow?
