How to get around login issues?

I need to ask technical questions about livefyre and I can not find where I should ask.  Is this the place?

I want to know specifically how login functionality is supposed to work and how to get it to work properly.  Apparently CBS News uses livefyre and it is just about impossible to be successfully signed in.  When I click the SignIn link a popup window tells me I am already logged in.  But I can not post anything and the "SignIn" is normally replaced by my username if I have successfully logged in.  Those two things are out of sync 90% of the time.  I am registered directly with CBS rather than Facebook or other social programs.

Sometimes I have to reload, open new windows, let the page sit there for 5 minutes of no activity, or a dozen other things I've tried.  Eventually I get signed in if I am willing to keep trying.  It is not a pleasant experience and I would not recommend livefyre to my worst enemy.
