How to create Date picker as a component?

Hi all,

I want to create a date picker component for my project and I don't want to get the values from dialog. How can I directly use date picker as component?

    If you don't want to pick the date from dialog then do you want to pic it on page level without authoring?

     

    Can you describe the use case?
