How to add new item in the Tab page ----basic in sidekick

It's just fit with my need.  But i try to do that by it and not work it , is it a right way to do that?

BTW, and i see the link page you give me, it seems to add one button to the sidekick for the page of the specific template. But my need is to add a button to all pages, which means it is a default button existed in the sidekick in the model "Classic UI", like "copy page" "movie page"....

If you have any good suggestion please let me know.

I attampt to write a example by your gave reference,  and i am using Adobe Experience Manager, Version 6.0.0.20140509.

While i open file .content.xml under the folder CustomAction.js.dir, i don't know how to creat it. I can't find jcr:content in the select list.  I guess maybe the Version 6 AEM is different from AME 5.X

with respect to clientLibrary I do not think difference between 5.x & 6.x
