How tags get translated in aem

Question

Hi ,

We have tags(cq:tags) configured on page properties but these tags arent coming in tagmetadata XML file.

We havent written any translation rules for tags but on translation cloud configuration we set translate tags under sites tab.

Can anyone clarify the below points
How do tags get sent for translation projects?How does this work in OOTB translations?
will cq:tags property from page properties will translate?
Do the tags used on components also appear in the tag metadata zip export?
Did we add any customizations yet in the way translations get sent

On ootb project I can see launched and tag metadata but unable to download XML I cant see XML to download If XML downloads may be I can see is tags coming on tagmetadat file
The export format already configured through /com.adobe.cq.wcm.translation.impl.TranslationPlatformConfigurationImpl configuration.

@vani1012 : If I understand it correctly (point 2 & 3), Localization of tags should work for your case. In this we can provide tag titles in respective languages.

If you have to show the tag title values in your pages, you can use tag apis to get localized tag title.

With this you do not have to translate your tags content for translations outside of AEM.
