How long does it take for a exported XF to appear in Target and how to deleted XF from Target offers?

Hi All,

I have been playing with latest feature "exporting the experience fragments to Target". I fond sometimes it is taking 5 minutes and some times even more than 10 minutes for the XF to appear in the Target. Any idea why?

And also I could not find an option to delete the XF from the target once exported. Deactivating the XF in AEM didnot take it off from the Target. Any ideas?

Regards,
Kiran

I believe we do a pull every 10 mins to get the experience fragments.

Ability to delete them from Target is planned for September, so should be coming soon.

As mentioned earlier, export happens based on polling. So if you export just close to polling time, it will show immediate and same if you do just after poll has been completed, it will take longer.

When you export XF from AEM, it exports that piece of HTML to Target and it does not get link with AEM forever. So even if you delete it from AEM, it will be there in Target.

Thanks for your response. I think they should introduce the delete option in some way otherwise the customers will end up having a clutter in Target offers. Also I observed that the XFs are being pushed into the default workspace when exported. Is Adobe going to provide any option to change that in the future?

Hi Gina,

Do you have an update on this please? When will it be possible to delete the XF offers in Target?

It seems unpublish/delete in AEM has no effect, and there is no option in Target to delete offers.

Also, do you know when it will be possible to export XFs from AEM into a specific workspace in Target please?

Many thanks,

Tom
