How do I keep my settings for my Workspace windows

I am using AEM Designer and I would like to know how to keep my workspace settings as I have them set each time I reopen them.  I typically pull the font and layout windows over to another monitor.  In Livecyle, it would retain this setting, but in AEM I have to reset it every time I close out.  Thank you.
