GrapghQL API Authentication

Hi Team,

 

 

AEM VERSION: 6.5.11

 

We are working in Headless approach using GrapghQL.

 

Through GrapghIQL, interface we are now able to see request and response.

 

Next STEP is to expose to external system so that these systems can make GrapghQL request and get content from AEM.

 

Question:

1)How to enable authentication for API call for AEM 6.5.11. I see lot of articles for AEM as a cloud service.

2) Although using Basic auth --username and passwords, we are able to get data through POSTMAN but this is not what we can share with third parties.

 

3) What is the ADOBE recommended way in this scenario and how we can get it implemented. Any example/Link/Doc.

4) Content fragment content should be exposed to third party via Publish/dispatcher or not. If yes, do we need to impose any authentication for API call or can be directly exposed without need of any authentication. What is the recommended way.

    Article you shared is for AEM Cloud Service whereas we are using on-premise 6.5.12 Version.

     

    Do you have something related to it?
