Getting 404 for fonts.

I have some fonts in /apps/myproject/fonts/  folder. I update the Day commons GFX font helper with the path /apps/myproject/fonts/ . The node with fontlist name got created. but its empty. Does the fonts needs to uploaded again/ or can i manual enter the font list. Is this the reason i am getting 404 for the fonts in my website.
