[Event Follow-Up] From Traditional AEM to Modern Headless, Without Disrupting Authors - October 13, 2026

Thank you to AEM Champion and AEM Community Advisor, Daniel Strmečki @daniel-strmecki for leading today’s event, From Traditional AEM to Modern Headless - Without Disrupting Authors. Daniel showed how Universal Editor lets teams keep AEM Sites authoring, workflows, and translations while delivering content through a decoupled frontend like Next.js. In the demo, he edited and published components inline, then showed the same page served from Vercel with static or incremental generation and CDN caching, scoring 94 for performance and 100 across accessibility, best practices, and SEO. The tradeoff is that the organization must host and operate the frontend itself.
