Does Adobe Analytics and Marketing Pixel Server Call Count as a Content Request in AEM?

Hello,

I'm trying to understand how Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) handles server calls. Specifically, I want to know if the server calls made by Adobe Analytics or Adobe Marketing pixels are considered "content requests" in AEM. Any insights or  documentation references would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @samdh

Ideally Adobe Analytics server calls are used to send data from client side to Adobe data collection servers and it should not contribute to AEM content requests. Adobe target on the other hand might make content requests based on the personalized content that it needs to return to the webpage.

Having said that, I believe AEM Community will be better suited to answer this question. Also, you can reach out to Adobe Customer Support as suggested in content request volume documentation and get more insights on top volume drivers of content requests.

Cheers!
