Hi masters!

Is there any funtionality in AEM 5.6.1 related with disk quotas? e.g, assign quota to users/roles, assign quota based on JCR path...

A quick search in google doesn't return any results...

Thank you very much!

You might want to limit the maximum filesize you can upload. You can also calculate the amount of uploaded assets _after_ they have been uploaded. Of course that's not as good as a hard quota.

Hi Julio,

no, it's not possible to restrict users/groups/roles not to consume more than N (kilo/mega/giga)bytes in the repository, or restrict the amount of storage used below a certain path.

Thank you Jörg. Maybe it could be a future functionality ;-)

I'm involved in a DAM project, working with video assets (with many MB per video, sometimes more than a GB), and it sould be great if we could control the amount of videos (disk space) the users can upload.

These are a good ideas to implement a workaround.
