Customize RTE to add a new option for lists

Question

We want to add an option to add a "checklist" bulleted list alongside the existing bullet options(numbered, bulleted etc.)

I think we need to follow these steps but not sure how to make these changes?

1. Add the new image for the icon for "checklist".

2. Enhance RTE to add the new option next to the existing 4 options.

3. Enhance html to display the list correctly.

How can we go about this?
