Custom workflow and language translation on AEM using Java

Use a custom Java workflow when you need translation to be part of an automated business process, for example:

• Auto‑translate newly uploaded assets’ metadata (title, description, tags) into several languages as soon as they are ingested.
• When an author/publisher triggers a workflow, AEM should:
  • Collect pages/assets/content fragments,
  • Send them to a translation provider (machine or human),
  • Bring translations back and publish or move to review.
