Custom Participant Step Delegate Issue

Hello,

I am trying to delegate a workitem to another user in the group but with custom participant step, this simply does not happen..

Anyone with suggestions? I see the below error.

In my workflow i added a dynamic participant step and in code i returned a group name, i don't see the reason why the users within the group cannot delegate tasks.

AFAIK oob no option to have dynamic participant steps to have delegation. Please file daycare with your business case.

Hey Sham,

Do you think it could be possible to have a java code to have the delegate functionality? I know the class that implements ParticipantStepChooser returns a group or a single user, could i have the delegate functionality somehow addressed here, so that when user checks inbox and wants to delegate stuff to another user, he should be able to see drop down of users within the group?
