cq:designPath in AEM 6.3

Hi

We are upgrading from AEM 6.1 SP2 to 6.3.

Our design reside at [1]

We have specified cq:designPath = [1] at node [2]

When we open page [3] in AEM 6.3, we get error [4] and component groups are also not appearing in Classic UI sidekick.

[1] /content/myproject/en/defaultdesign

[2] /content/myproject/en/jcr:content

[3] http://localhost/content/myproject/en/home.html

[4] 23.07.2017 01:25:16.943 *ERROR* [98.118.119.38 [1500787516942] GET /libs/wcm/core/content/pageinfo.json HTTP/1.1] com.day.cq.wcm.core.impl.designer.DesignerImpl No design at /content/myproject/en/defaultdesign. Using default.

This works well in AEM 6.1 SP2.

Did anyone of us faced this problem? If yes then what was the resolution? I will appreciate response.

Hi atulaem,

Can you find out the value of "${currentDesign.path}" in http://localhost/content/myproject/en/home.html and check the path it is displaying.

Also,if you can share a sample package of it we can better help you out in finding the solution for this.
