Is there a tool or utility readily available to migrate content from SDL to AEM?

Please take a look at https://www.contentbloom.com/blog/lift-and-shift-migration-sdl-tridion-to-adobe-experience-manager/ This might include getting some help or trying to do the transformation scripts yourself.

Please also take a look at https://exchange.adobe.com/experiencecloud.details.103440.sdl-connector-for-aem.html & https://exchange.adobe.com/experiencecloud.details.100110.sdl-translation-management.html
You might need an adobe cloud account to access these. I am not really sure if these tools take care of complete migration however these seem to be relevant in supporting the migration or translation of the content during the migration. Better to reach out to Adobe customer support if you have one as a contact. They should be happy to support on this.
Have you guys contacted Adobe yet?
