Content Fragment MetatData at the Variation

I could not find a way to create different metadata for each of the variations of the content fragment created. Is that even possible?

That is not an OOTB option.

Would it not add value by allowing to define metadata at the variation instead of the content fragment as a whole? If I had to customize it at the variation , is there a way?
