Card view in AEM Assets should be displayed as a grid

Request for Feature Enhancement (RFE) Summary :Currently, Card view in AEM Assets is staggered. Metadata displayed on the card as well as the asset's format can push assets below it down, and the rows are not even. The staggered view is hard on the eyes, when trying to pick the right asset. When we scroll down to view more images, the pages redraws and assets keep moving around. This has been very frustrating to our users and this is the most common enhancement request from our users. Our request is to make the Card view grid-like, where all rectangles in a row are aligned.

Current/Experienced Behavior:Currently, Card view in AEM Assets is staggered.
Improved/Expected Behavior:Card view is grid-like, where all rectangles in a row are aligned.

    Hi @oksanadersovitz 

    As you know there are other views available in AEM that should meet the requirements you are referring to. For instance in List View or Column view the items will not move around and column view provides a full view of all items. Would you be able to clarify why other views can not be used by the end users ?

    The assets are too small in List or Column view to select correctly from search results. We are a large supermarket, and carry 50,000+ products, each product having 10 images. We put custom metadata on a card to aid in asset selection (such as UPC and weight/size of product), which is not visible in List or Column view. So Card view is absolutely essential for us.

    Hi @hamid1350 , I was wondering if you have any additional feedback on my comment above. Sorry I didn't tag you when I originally responded. Is there any hope for card view to become an even grid?

    We have submitted this feature request to the product teams via the Jira CQ-4312241. The product team will triage this request to verify feasibility based on prioritization model. This post will be updated according to the Jira request status.

    Was this ever added? While card view looks fancy, it's incredibly difficult to use when comparing versioned assets. Looking to see if there is a view where everything is scaled to the same height in a grid so I can request from my admins.
