Can we use ACS Commons Redirect Map Manager with IIS

How can we use ACS Commons Redirect Map Manager with IIS. The documentation for the module only lists the use of the module with Apache. The question is 2 folds:-

1) Is the ACS commons module built to support IIS if yes then do we have a documentation for that.

2) Will the module still work without the webserver configuration change in case IIS support is not available.

@rajeevbo1 it's all about hitting an AEM page from AeM publisher and storing it as redirects in webserver, be it apache or IIS, while I am not expertise in IIS, I am sure you should be able to write a bat file kind thingy to do similar job.

Well the webserver is the important piece of the puzzle. The data exported from the publisher is in a format which might be supported by Apache (for redirection) but not IIS. Not to forget the support for reflecting changes without a webserver restart is also an important part of the solution.
