Can AEM with Adobe eCommerce allow a site to offer digital downloads for purchase?

I know that AEM allows me to sell physical products, but does it offer the capability for videos, reports, or other documents to be purchased and downloaded from an AEM site?

Yes. That is possible with some customisation to AEM Commerce.

The Commerce API is quite generic (and sane), so most things are possible.

AFAIK there is no sample. But you can achieve it with custom implementation using AEM.

Thanks, but I should clarify that I'm referring to digital products themselves being sold and downloaded through the site (for example an ebook), not samples or video reviews of products.
