Brand Portal - Search by folder

hello everyone,

i added the Files/Folders filter to Brand Portal but it is not returning results when i try to search by folder.

I published the search form and /libs/dam/gui/coral/components/admin/customsearch/searchpredicates/searchtypepredicate to brand portal.

The filters looks good.

I also reviewed the search request and looks good as well, i mean it has

group.1_group.type: nt:folder

has anyone added the folder filter option on brad portal?

thanks in advance

Hello @victortoledo

Adding folder filter options to the Brand Portal search functionality requires additional customization. By default, the Brand Portal search is not designed to include folder-specific filtering. However, you can extend the search functionality by customizing the search components in AEM and Brand Portal.

Hi @tanika02 thanks for your help. I asked to the adobe support and they told me that is not posible to extend brand portal. I did it a lot of times on aem.

do you have any example or documentation?

thanks in advance

Now i get one more question out of this - how did you publish /libs/dam/gui/coral/components/admin/customsearch/searchpredicates/searchtypepredicate to brand portal?

No, none of them have helped. The community is becoming useless. Anything can be answered, everything to try to be an advisor.

Did you see my question from 22-08-2023 15:26 CEST?

Maybe i am wrong, but isn't this simply a path browser predicate?
Check if the filepath is correct - since it is probably not the same as in AEM.

In my case:
path browser predicate in AEM: /content/dam
path browser predicate in BP   : /content/dam/mac/company-name
