Assets list view displays jcr title not dc title

I'm having this issue in AEM 6.5.3 where the list view of Assets is displaying the jcr:title in the title field instead of dc:title. We found this when we moved an asset and update the title in the Basic Tab. The correct titles comes up in the card and column view. Is anyone aware of this issue?

This might be OOTB behavior, have you tried in Vanilla instance if it is same behavior?
