Angular vs React

Hi,

We have an intranet site for employee communication and engagement based on AEM . In UI side we are currently implementing AngularJs v 1.8.  We are now planning to upgrade this existing AEM project with AngularJS into newer JS technologies like React or Angular

Based on my research on the internet I have found out that both Angular and React work for different kinds of projects. Can you please help me point in the right direct as to which one should we chose given our use case (Intranet news site to find whats happening around the company globally).

Any inputs will be highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi @bhanujain,

Both Angular & React are the trending technologies that you can use with AEM.

In the end, selecting the technology is completely based on the requirement of the project. All the best.

@bhanujain,

In my opinion, It really depends on what your companies long term vision for technology. Do you see your company moving more towards ReactJS or Angular. You should gather some research online and discuss the pros and cons for ReactJS vs Angular with your team, and together, agree with your which best technology is the best one to move forward.

I personally think both of these front-end technologies are very worthy and are calibrated for production-ready websites.

Good luck!
