AEM Workflow triggering

Hi,

We are using AEM 6.2 SP1. We have a workflow which adds custom metadata values when a asset is uploaded in a specific location. The workflow launcher we used for that location is "modified" and nodetype as "dam:asset" and we have in exclude list which is "event-user-data:changedByWorkflowProcess". I also excluded many other properties which might cause the issue

When asset is uploaded in to the folder, workflow runs and it adds custom properties. The issue is this is running exactly twice when i upload more than 4 assets at once. When you upload only one asset, the workflow is running only once but if more than 3 or 4, workflow is running more than once.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

The same is happening with me. The version is 6.5.4 and 6.5.5. When I upload an image, the workflow "DAM Update Asset" triggers two times. 
When I disabled the launcher for the type "node modified" having the exclude list "event-user-data:changedByWorkflowProcess". It triggered only once. 
But, I am unable to investigate why this is happening. 
Note: This does not happen for assets other than image.
