AEM Sidekick is stuck loading

Hi, the sidekick in my environment does not load. It's not that it's just empty, but it shows the loading circle and doesn't load any of the mode buttons or anything. Can anyone advise on how to fix this?

 

I believe this is an issue with the sidekick.js file. Is there a way to replace it with a factory default copy of sidekick.js?

Please check the error in the browser and AEM's error logs to further debug this issue.

Have you overridden your sidekick.js in your application?if yes then remove that and check if the side kick loads fine,if it loads fine then there is something wrong with your customized sidekick.js. 

if you have not overriden check the error logs/console of the browser. Clear your browser cache and refresh the page and also check if this happens only in some pages or through out your application.
