AEM Sidekick Does not expand

Hi,

For the last couple of days, the sidekick in my AEM pages has not been expanding. Till then, it was working well.

As you can see in the attached screen shot, whether I expand or contract, it remains the same, with only the arrow pointing up or down.

As a result, I can’t see what is there in the sidekick and also, I can’t see the top level icons in it, like Page Properties, etc.

This behavior is same for my pages as well as the OOB pages.

Please help.

Once I deleted cookies, it worked normally.

Hi Rama,

Do you see any JS errors when you open developer console?

Did you create new Workflows in your system recently(Sidekick can break because of bad js code in Workflow)?

Did you try resizing the sidekick?  We've also run into this issue, but by resizing the sidekick (select at the bottom of the sidekick and drag down) the components become visible.

This problems seems to happen after collapsing the sidekick, moving it over a drag-drop component area, then refreshing the page.  AEM seems to cache a size for the sidekick, then keeps using it until you manually change it or clear the cache.
