AEM 6.5 SPA proxy component for Content Fragment not rendering in editor, but appears in JCR

I followed the weRetail tutorial to create a proxy component, and it works within the weRetail site, but not for our organization site which is all in React, even though the components are allowed. Could it be some clashing clientlib? How can i verify this?

I am able to drag and drop it but it does not render.
